Indian Super League (ISL) organizer Football Sports Development Limited (FDSL) chief Nita Ambani on Sunday lauded the performance of domestic players in the ongoing ISL season. Most of the players of the national team come from ISL.

Ambani said in a statement, "Every season since the inception of the ISL, we have seen the quality of football improve and our domestic players shine. Liston Kolaso, Akash Mishra, Prabsukhan Gill, Sahal (Samad) and many others have become 'icons' of football for the next generation."

Ambani also welcomed the return of spectators to the stadium for the final between Kerala Blasters and Hyderabad FC.
