Indian archers put up a stellar performance in the Asia Cup stage two at Sulaimaniya on Tuesday, securing three gold and one bronze medals. The trio of Preneet Kaur, Aditi Swamy and Sakshi Choudhary defeated Kazakhstan 204-201 to win the first gold medal in the continental competition.

The men's team of Prathamesh Fuge, Rishabh Yadav and Javkar Samalan beat Bangladesh 224-218 in a one-sided final to secure their second gold. Samadhan won the second medal by defeating Sergei Khistryj of Kazakhstan 147–145 in the bronze medal playoff match.

India won its third gold medal in the compound mixed team event when the pair of Prathamesh and Preneet defeated Kazakhstan's Adel Zheshenbinova and Khistries 158-151. The Indian archers team will challenge for seven gold, two silver and one bronze medals on Wednesday, the final day of the competition.
