Anand categorically refuses to become an administrator in his potential role. He says that the specifics of his role are currently being worked out, it will mainly be that of a consultant. I don't really see myself as an administrator, I'll basically be a consultant. The overall idea is that I will work towards promoting chess, and suggest areas of improvement. I've been to FIDE in the past as well. But it will definitely be different. It will be a role with more responsibility. The way I look at it, it's going to be very close to what I'm doing in Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ). Maybe Slightly more appropriate as this is my area of expertise.
Anand said that I've been training a fair amount. I can feel stressed and it's hard to get used to. I'm playing less now. I'm skipping all the major official competitions and world championship cycle events. Thus of roles, Like possibly in FIDE, I can fill that position. For this role I think it's an opportunity to take a closer look at the world of chess. It can be especially helpful as I advise the next group of Indian players I am giving.
