Two-time Olympic medalist and India's star badminton player PV Sindhu's winning streak in Korea Open continues. Sindhu entered the semi-finals of the Korea Open after registering a win in the quarterfinals. Sindhu, seeded third, defeated Thailand's Busanan Ongbamrungphan in the quarterfinal match in straight games. Although Sindhu was trailing 2-5 at one point in the first game of this match, but after that Sindhu came into her own color and took a 6-5 lead after getting 4 points in a row. World No 7 did not look back after that and clinched the first game 21-10 in their favour.
However, in the second game, Sindhu maintained the lead from the beginning and did not give any chance to her opponent to come back and win the match 2-0 after winning the game 21-16. Sindhu took 43 minutes to win this match. In the semi-finals, Sindhu will face Korea's player and the winner of the match between second seed Seong and Kawakami of Japan. Sindhu recently won the title of Swiss Open and her spirits are high.
