CUTS has said in its complaint that this advertisement is violating traffic rules. Following the complaint, the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has asked the IPL governing council to remove this promo. After the complaint was received in ASCI, the members of the Consumer Complaints Committee (CCC) saw this promo and found violation of rules in the promo.

After which he has directed the advertising company to modify or remove it completely by April 20. The company has also accepted the mistake and assured that it will take it back. In the controversial advertisement, Dhoni poses as a driver in Rajinikanth style. They are driving the bus but suddenly apply brakes, after which there is a traffic jam.
