In the Junior and Youth Boxing Championships, the Indian contingent has won a total of 39 medals with 15 gold. In the medal tally, India finished its campaign in third place behind Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Indian young boxers won a total of 39 medals, including 15 gold, in the ongoing Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan. In the medal tally, the Indian contingent ended its journey by finishing third. Viswanath Suresh (48kg) and Viswanath (63.5kg) ended India's campaign with gold medals in the men's youth category.

India's young boxers won 18 medals, including seven gold, three silver and eight bronze, while the junior team continued its campaign with a total of 21 medals, eight gold, seven silver and six bronze. Chennai's boxer Vishwanath defeated Kyrgyzstan's Ergeshov Bekjat 5-0 on Monday night.

Raman (51kg), Anand Yadav (54kg) and Deepak got bronze medals after losing in the semi-finals. The Indian youth team finished third in the medal tally with 18 medals. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan finished first two places with 23 and 22 medals, respectively. Among young women, Nivedita Karki (48kg), Tamannaah (50kg), Shaheen Gill (60kg), Raveena (63kg) and Muskaan (75kg) won gold medals on Monday.

In the junior category, Vini (50kg), Yakshika (52kg), Nikita Chand (60kg), Vidhi (57kg), Srishti Sathe (63kg) and Rudrika (75kg) won the girls while Krish Pal and Yashvardhan Singh won. Won gold medals in boys' category. The Indian junior team finished second behind Uzbekistan.

India won a total of 39 medals like last season but this time won one more gold medal than last season's 14. 352 boxers from 21 countries including India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the tournament.
