Nadal has become the tennis player to win the most matches in a single Grand Slam. Nadal has won 106 matches at the French Open so far. In this case, he left behind former number one Roger Federer. Federer has won 105 matches at Wimbledon. In total, four Grand Slams are played. This includes the French Open and Wimbledon, as well as the Australian Open and the US Open.

Former veteran Jimmy Connors is at number three after Nadal and Federer. He won 98 matches in the US Open. Nadal has a great record at the French Open. They have lost just three matches apart from winning 106 matches. Nadal's previous defeat at the French Open came last year, when Novak Djokovic defeated him in the semi-finals. Also at the French Open, Nadal lost in the fourth round to Robin Soderling in 2009 and in the quarterfinals to Djokovic in 2015.
