DG (Prisons) told that we have given permission to Sushil to give fitness and wrestling training to the prisoners. Prisoners who are willing to do so can learn from Sushil.

Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar, lodged in Tihar Jail in the Sagar Dhankhar murder case, has taken a new responsibility. He has decided to give wrestling and physical fitness training to other jail inmates. For this, Sushil has also got permission from the jail administration.

DG (Prisons) told that we have given permission to Sushil to give fitness and wrestling training to the prisoners. Prisoners who are willing to do so can learn from Sushil. According to the information, currently 6-7 prisoners are getting coaching from Olympic medalist Sushil.

Keeping in mind the fitness of the prisoners, the Tihar Jail administration has taken this decision. The jail administration said that a plan had already been made to involve Sushil in such fitness activities, but it could not be done earlier due to Corona. Now it can be started after the cases of corona are reduced.
