Barty won a total of 15 titles in his tennis career. These include three Grand Slam titles. He won the French Open in the year 2019, the Australian Open in 2021 and the Australian Open this year. She has been at the top of the women's tennis rankings for a total of 121 weeks. Barty said goodbye to tennis on Wednesday, sharing an emotional video on social media. In the video, she says, 'Ash Barty is such a person who has many dreams and in these dreams it is not necessary to travel around the world while living away from his family and home. I always want to be with my family.
Barty says, 'My love for tennis will never end. It has been a big part of my life but now I feel that I should enjoy another part of my life as a human being and not as an athlete. Barty has already announced retirement from tennis. In 2014, when she was just 17 years old, she said goodbye to tennis due to travelling.
However, in 2016 she made a comeback and gradually she moved up the tennis rankings. To this Barty said, 'I know I have done this before but there were other feelings at that time.' Barty further says, 'I am very grateful for tennis. It allowed me to pursue my dreams but I know this is the right time to move on and fulfill the rest of my dreams.
