In the absence of the archery giants, India made it to 7 out of 10 finals but could get only two golds. Indian players lost a total of five final matches. Two of these were against Bangladesh. Bangladesh team topped the medal table with three gold and one silver.
Two golds came for India in the recurve men's team and compound women's individual category. Parth Salunkhe, Rahul Nagarwal and Dheeraj B won the gold medal for the team in the recurve men's section. This trio defeated the Kazakhstan team 6-2 (53-53, 57-57, 56-55, 57-54). On the other hand, second seed Sakshi Chaudhary defeated 13th seeded compatriot Preneet Kaur in the shoot-off to win the gold.

- Riddhi Fore, Tisha Punia and Tanisha Verma had to be content with silver medals in the recurve women's team event.
- The recurve mixed team of Riddhi Four and Parth Salunkhe also targeted Silver.
